Smash Pictures Wins AEBN VOD Award for Secretary’s Day
CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Smash Pictures is again victorious, wining an award from video-on-demand website AEBN’s Third Annual VOD Awards with a Best Overall trophy for its release Secretary’s Day.
“We put a lot of thought into this release,” said Smash Pictures VP Stuart Wall. “Continuing with our niche theme, dressing the girls up as secretaries in office attire from blouses to glasses seemed to prove a winner for us.”
AEBN is among the leading websites for video-on-demand downloads. AEBN’s VOD awards nominations are based on the number of minutes users spend viewing a particular title. AEBN does its own in-house accounting system to track the VOd porn habits of millions of fans, awarding winners based on total viewing time.
“The VOD awards honor the best videos as chosen by the fans,” said Scott Coffman, President of AEBN. “Going forward with another year of award presentation says a lot not only about the growth of our company but also about recognition of greatness in the adult industry.”

“We shot this after-hours in a big law firm’s office building [without permission],” Wall recalled. “We chose to shoot a scene on the head honcho’s desk. Long story short, the next day he finds one of the girls’ blouse buttons that fell off on his chair; we were busted, yet he forgave us by letting him watch the shooting of the final scene that evening - this time with his approval.
The Smash film beat out Cytherea’s Anal Whores, Jada Fire is Squirtwoman, Yo Mama’s A Freak 2 and Done in 60 Seconds for the Best Overall position.

LOS ANGELES - Smash Pictures! director-editor Bishop (of Family Business fame) has packed his latest movie with high-energy interracial comedy that includes a doctor named White Pharmacist who is helping people cope with the dread disease “negrosaregrosses,” but don’t worry — there’s no hard-hitting racial commentary to be found.

In addition, Bishop acknowledged that he found something to laugh at in the weird double-standard that applies to black performers and crew members in the adult biz — a double-standard that he said manifests itself in white performers who arrive on set and refuse to work with certain black performers.
“Interracial sex is a big deal on the black side of things,” he said. “Some girls don’t do interracial. Some are more selective than others — that’s the big deal we’re making fun of in this movie.”
Zak Wylde Wraps Registered Nurse for Smash Pictures
LOS ANGELES - Director Zak Wylde has wrapped production on Registered Nurse, a new gonzo title due in stores May 24 from Smash Pictures.
“In Registered Nurse, we continued using the formula that works best for us, dressing our girls up in fantasy fetish outfits,” said Smash Pictures sales VP Stuart Wall. “The girls love portraying the nurse theme, and once the fans watch the movie, all their fantasies of sitting in the nurse’s chair can be relived with a happy ending.”
Smash originally intended to shoot Registered Nurse in an L.A. hospital, but had to change plans when a Warner Brothers movie booked the same location. Wylde ended up using Kylie Ireland’s downtown loft as the setting for the movie.
“It’s more of a vignette-based movie than a feature,” Wylde told AVN.com. “The last three movies I’ve done for Smash have all had a costume theme; we did secretaries [Secretary’s Day] and nannies [Naughty Nanny], and in this one, we dressed all the girls in nurse’s costumes.”
Registered Nurse stars Trinity Post, Isabella Pacino, Marie Luv, Annette Schwarz, Gwen Diamond, Mark Davis, Chris Charming, Jenner, Rick Masters, James Deen and Lee Stone.
“We did one scene where James Deen is in a cage,” Wylde continued. “He’s kind of a twisted guy, and Isabella Pacino plays the nurse who helps him out. Rick Masters and Jenner played two bums - Annette Schwarz was a rescue nurse who shows them her 12-step program in a d.p. scene.”
Four of the movie’s five vignettes include anal sex. The exception is a boy/girl scene with Gwen Diamond and Lee Stone; Wylde noted Diamond’s performance as a standout in the production.
“My scene takes place on a gynecologist’s chair,” Diamond told AVN.com. “I was wearing a white dress with a little nurse’s symbol, red stockings, and a little nurse’s hat. I worked with Lee Stone, who’s always a lot of fun; we pretty much ran through every position that could possibly be done on that chair. I’m really excited for the movie to come out. The whole production is so beautiful; my scene was certainly energetic, and the energy that I saw from the other talent was great - I was turned on watching it.”
